Wow - I just found another great site.  It's called SmugMug- and they have a superb collection of photo gifts.  When you arrive on the site just click prints and gifts.  More recommended photo gift ideas that I was really impressed by:

• Mounted canvas prints - this makes a great gift for anyone.  You'd be a standout giving a gift like that.   Again you provide a photo, and they put it on canvas in a wide array of sizes. Think of the possibilities!  A photo canvas print would be the center of any conversation!
• Photo ceramic tiles, and ceramic tile mosaics. - these are definitely unique!  One 6 x6 ceramic photo tile along with a stand really makes a nice gift for anyone in the family, not to mention how beautiful a photo ceramic tile mosaic would look in your own home or as a housewarming gift!  The mosaic consists of 6 four inch mosaics.  All you need is a picture!
• Stuff to wear - such as sweatshirts, t-shirts and aprons all with your favorite photo embellished on them.
• A ton of small inexpensive photo gifts eg. - photo key tags, photo luggage tags, photo coasters, and the list goes on.   These are great - because in our present economic times, small gifts often mean the most.  Remember it's the photo that's important, and a small gift can be most cherished because of it!

The other great site I just discovered is called Smilebox.com.  It has fabulous online scrapbooks - you just upload your pictures,choose a design from the hundreds offered, add photos, words and music. Then you can email, blog or print your pages.  The finished scrapbook pages would be an absolutely ultimate photo gift for anyone.  Click on the link and you will see for yourself.  I plan to do a lot of my own scrapbooking pages on this site.  It's really fun, and they have a great selection!

Smilebox.com also has photo recipes.  These are really cool - again you upload a picture of whomever created the recipe - say Aunt Martha , put in the text for the recipe ,  print the recipes and put in a binder and you create a beautiful family heirloom that can be given to many members of the family or handed down to your daughter or granddaughter.  These recipe books make a fabulous present.  The only drawback is that you have to invest some time putting it together - but it's well worth it!

Another great thing that you can do with their recipe cards is to exchange recipes for potlucks, cookie swaps, etc.  Share a favorite recipe with friends and family.  Just add your photos , words, music, even videos and send via email or blog.  Print the recipes and you can make your own custom binder.  They have a free trial , so that you can experiment.  Click on the Smilebox.com link  above and go to All Categories, Design Types and then click Recipes.  You'll love it!
